SARAH SPILLETT - HEAD COACH

The 2011 PHS Girls Lacrosse season will be Sarah Spilletts third season as the Head Coach of the PHS Varsity Team. Coach Spillett comes highly recommended from NCAA Division 1 University of Albany coaching staff where she was a 4 year starter. Sarah was selected to be the Team Captain in the 2006 and 2007 seasons for her superior team leadership and game skills. During her 4 years at Albany she was selected First Team All-American East Conference (2007), Second Team All-America East Conference (2005, 2006), and America East All Rookie team (2004). Sarah led her team to a runner up finish in the America East conference in her senior year. In addition to her playing experience, Sarah is the Program Director for Starz Lacrosse where she has been instrumental in providing off-season club lacrosse opportunities for boys and girls throughout Southern California. She comes from a strong family background in lacrosse and is originally from Syracuse, NY where she was a High School All-American.

Im extremely excited about the 2011 Poway Girls Lacrosse Season! It is an honor to be able to come and coach a program in such a strong and tight knit community. You have all worked very hard to be the players that you are today, and I cant wait to see what we are capable of on the lacrosse field this year! Always give 100%, stay focused on our team goals, and lets make the 2011 Season one to remember!
